My story
How Aureliarts began
Aureliarts started at my kitchen table in 2019, during a stretch when I needed something to do with my hands that wasn’t a screen. What began as a way to unwind between freelance projects turned into paper flowers on every surface of my apartment, and eventually, a blog to share what I was
learning.
I’m not a professional crafter — I don’t have a design degree or a studio full of expensive tools.
Everything I share here, I learned through trial, error, and a lot of glue-gun burns. That’s exactly why Aureliarts exists: to make beautiful, handmade projects feel achievable for anyone, regardless of skill level or budget.
Every tutorial on this site is tested in my own home before it’s published — if a step doesn’t work for me on the first try, I fix the instructions until it does, so you don’t have to troubleshoot alone.

Aureliarts starts as a hobby
What began as paper flowers made at the kitchen table turned into a small blog to document what I was learning.
2021
First 100 tutorials published
Aureliarts grew from a personal journal into a real resource, covering paper crafts, kids’ activities, and
seasonal projects.
2023
Free printable library launches
Templates, coloring pages, and gift tags became a permanent, always-free part of the site.
