- Pen, Pencil, Eraser
How to make the LOVE Card
Gather all the materials mentioned above and prepare your working area clean before starting to make the LOVE greeting card.
Step One:
First, we need to cut a heart shape as a block. You can choose any size for this. Then use that block to cut several hearts from the red craft paper.
Cut the previously drawn hearts. I cut 4 hearts. But you can cut more than that or fewer hearts. But I prefer 4 hearts.
Here are our 4 hearts.
Step Two:
Now we can attach hearts one by one to each other to make it like a Heart Air Balloon.
Glue on the middle line of the heart and attach the rest of the hearts on that middle part of the heart. When doing this, fold other hearts into two.
This is the heart balloon we made so far.
Step Three:
Take the card stock as the greeting card base. The size of the cardstock which I have taken as the base is 15 x 20 cm and fold it like below.
Now we can attach the heart-shaped balloon to the card. To do this, we need two paper strips. Take two paper strips length 1 x 8 cm in size and attach them inside the folded greeting card base. You can get paper strips any length but they should match your greeting card’s width and height.Â
Step Four:
Now we can glue the heart balloon on the end of the two paper strips like the below image. I added white paper also to cover the rest of the paper strips. We can write anything like a ‘wish’ in that space too.
You can use any colored paper you like to match your color theme. You don’t need to choose common colors like red, or pink. Have fun with your color selection.Â
Step Five:
As the final step, you can decorate this cute little “LOVE” card. I added a small red heart, and some wording and you can too.Â
Add the final touches to the front of the card too. I added a small envelope to make the card more adorable.
Add some outline, glitters, or any decorative embellishments to decorate your card.
I like the way how it turned out.
This adorable “LOVE” greeting card is a perfect handmade greeting card for Valentine’s. It is one of the best ways to express your love for your loved one.
You can make various Valentine’s crafts to gift or decorate your room.
Suggestion:
Have fun with your color choices. You can try not only red or pink, but also purple, blue, orange, or even multicolors to make this greeting card.Â
It will make a cute addition to your Valentine’s celebration with your loved one.
