How to make a Pumpkin Garland
So today we are going to tell you how to make a cute pumpkin garland to decorate your home this Halloween.
If you have been busy and need some last minute decors to decorate your house, then we got your back. You can make this with very few things, in no time.
It’s very easy to make and super cute!

So without further ado, let’s dive right in!
Here’s what you need:
- Orange colour papers
- Green colour papers
- A thread or a cord
- Scissor
- Glue
Step 01: Cut the strips
First, you need to cut thin strips of 1*12cm size. You’ll want 4 strips per a pumpkin. So, cut as many as you want, according to how many pumpkins you want to make 😉
Step 02: Fold it in half
Fold the strips in half to get a crease in the middle, as shown in the pictures.
Step 03: Paste the strips
Then, take one strip and apply some glue in the middle and paste another strip on top of it to make a cross shape.
Paste two more strips on top of them, to make a perfect star shape, as shown in the pictures.
You’ll get something like this. A star!
Step 04: Paste the opposite ends of the strips together
Next, take one strip, hold the opposite ends of it together,
and paste them. Just like in the picture.
Do the same for the rest of the strips as well.
And…. you get a nice little paper pumpkin!
But something is missing right? Can you guess what?Â
Let’s move on to the next step to find out.
Step 05: Make the stalk
Cut a thin and long strip of green paper.
Roll up on both ends like shown in the picture.
Then paste it on top of the pumpkin you made.
Then you get these cute little pumpkins.Â
Don’t forget to make as many as you want, because next we are going to turn them into a garland.
Step 06: Make the garland
Take a thread or a thin cord and put it through the pumpkins.
And there you go! The Halloween pumpkin garland!
It’s the perfect decor to your home or anywhere, if you are running out of time and need some last minute saviors.Â
You can make this in no time, with very little resources.
Plus, it looks quite adorable, right?Â
Don’t forget to make as many pumpkins as you want, so that you can make the garland as lengthy as you want.

Suggestion:
You can experiment with different sizes of paper strips to make larger or even smaller pumpkins.
